I knew that if I was going to replace his chair, he needed 2 things. 1.) It has to have a tall enough back for his head to rest. 2.) He wants a place to prop his feet up. Determined to have him in a new chair by Christmas, I blitzed every thrift store around until I came back with this fuzzy green guy.
It took me about 8 hours to pull staples out of this chair- my hands were KILLING me once I was done!
What about the feet propping part??? I painted an old suitcase and added some doorknobs for the feet and it works perfectly. The best part is that I can open it up and use it for storage!
